Ecclesiastes 1: 9-11
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is
that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already
of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance
of things that are to come with those that shall come after [note: which is to say
- people either don’t remember or don't understand the simple pattern which GOD has
ordained to be].
Ecclesiastes 3: 15
15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and GOD
requireth that which is past.
Isaiah 41: 22-23
22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former
things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them;
or declare us things for to come.
23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are GOD’s:
yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together [note:
GOD directed these Words through Isaiah to the false prophets and those who fashioned
their own religion].
Isaiah 46: 9-10
9 Remember the former things of old: for I Am GOD, and there is none else; I Am GOD,
and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are
not yet done, Saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure:
Isaiah 48: 3
3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of
My mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

By The Holy Spirit and through these simple Truths above, and without departing from
them, prophecies of the end times are deciphered by examining that which has been
written from the beginning. There are some exceptions or “flavors” to this rule,
but that is readily understood by the dedicated Bible student on a prophecy by prophecy
basis. For example, Christ would come again in like manner as He departed from His
first Advent, i.e., into the sky from Mount Olivet, but the exception being - He
would return in flaming fire and fury (2 Peter 3: 7 and verses 10-12), and that is
different from how He departed after His earthly Ministry was completed (compare
Acts 1: 9-11 and Zechariah 14: 3-5). However, the prophecy of His return spoken by
the angels is true isn’t it; “first going into, and then coming again from Heaven”.
If we try to make every prophecy strictly adhere to a previous historical event on
a step by step schematic, we are going to fail in understanding, because GOD uses
types, metaphors, analogies, loose terminology, and such to relate prophecy to us.
Many times a physical historical event will depict a future spiritual event, but
at times it can include both physical and spiritual references. There is no substitution
for total Bible study from cover to cover with The Holy Spirit teaching and guiding
us. GOD does not reveal total Truth in any other way. However, prophecy is not meant
for the worldly wise or spiritually / Biblically lazy to understand. Only the simple
and easy (“Milk”) Scriptures are allotted to the world in general, such as the path
to Salvation for example. It takes all of our humbled heart, mind, soul, and strength
to get close to GOD Almighty and understand His Words (see Deuteronomy 4: 29-31 ◦
Psalms 119: 2 ◦ Proverbs 28: 5 and Jeremiah 9: 23-24 ◦ 29: 13).
Let’s reflect back to the prophecy basics written in Ecclesiastes and Isaiah as mentioned
in the opening of this section. Another excellent example of “Prophecy Patterns”
is the seven headed beast(s) from Revelation 12: 3 ◦ 13: 1 and 17: 3. We notice
in Revelation 13: 2 that the dragon (satan) gives the seven headed, ten horned beast
with ten crowns it’s power. To simplify this, the seven heads are given as a two-fold
meaning in Revelation chapter 17 (see below for the second description). For the
first description given, the seven heads depict the seven continents of earth which
are called “mountains” in Revelation 17: 9, and the Greek word “oros” gives indication
that it is land which is higher (raised up) than the surrounding area; such as the
surrounding oceans. This means the “beast” spreads over the whole earth (where all
of mankind dwells) in the end-time (Revelation 13: 3-10), i.e., it is a world-wide
kingdom or government. The reports we hear of these seven “mountains” being the seven
hills of Rome are completely wrong, whereas the waters where the “whore” sits (Revelation
17) are all peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues (languages). Those who propagate
this error are going on the assumption that there is such a thing as the revived
Roman empire even though the book of Revelation repeatedly verifies to us it is Babylon
(confusion) as the prophetic pattern which shall be yet again in the final days.
TOP OF PAGE
To continue with the second description of the beast's seven heads in the following
paragraphs - Revelation 17: 10-11 mentions seven kings and then an eighth king (see
below for details). The ten horns however, represent ten end-time kings (powers)
who only receive power as kings during the time of satan’s tribulation. Be careful
not to confuse the seven kings and the ten kings, because they are completely different
as we will discover. The seven kings which eventually turns into eight kings, span
throughout many ages, but the ten kings are only ten end-time kings who give their
rights and power to anti-christ / satan. This is just something to bear in mind.
In Revelation 12: 3-4 we notice that beast has only seven crowns instead of the ten
described in Revelation 13: 1, but still has seven heads and ten horns. This is because
it is an earlier point in time (with 3 less crowns upon the seven heads - see Daniel
7: 7-8). The mention of multiple crowns informs us that the “beast / dragon” has
acquired kingdoms from other “horns / powers” (see Daniel 7: 20). In Daniel chapter
10, certain angels (also powers) are accounted as princes and kings of various regions.
We know Revelation 12: 3-4 is earlier in history than Revelation 13 and 17: 3 because
of the earlier time frame which mentions the dragon drawing one third of GOD’s angels
(“stars” - prophetic) after himself and casting them to earth. That one third are
the fallen angels who followed satan instead of GOD. Brother Jude (Jude 6) writes
of these angels who left their first (Heavenly) habitation and in Genesis 6 we see
they were active here on earth (also see 2 Peter 2: 4). The age when the dragon and
these angels initially rebelled against GOD was very likely many eons in the past
- as indicated when studying the related Hebrew Scriptures. These angels were forbidden
to interact with mankind, yet they disobeyed and are now held in chains being reserved
for destruction, but will perish at a period after they are cast onto earth from
Heaven with satan in the end-time. After the great tribulation, satan will be cast
into, and chained in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. Following that he will be
released for a short season before he is completely destroyed (Revelation 20: 1-3).
We could go into much detail on that alone, but it will have to be dealt with at
another time, although we may touch on it if details require us.
Daniel saw the end-time beast with ten horns mentioned from Revelation chapters 13
and 17 above, in Daniel 7: 7-8, but there in verses 23-25 of that seventh chapter,
he saw what is described in 2 Thessalonians 2: 4 and Isaiah 14: 13-14. A very simple
“rule of thumb” to follow when studying prophecy is: “whatever is not of GOD or a
GOD-ly characteristic or institution can automatically be attributed to satan”; especially
this / these beast(s) we are now reading about. Revelation chapters 12, 13, and 17
affirms that for us; as well as several places in the book of Daniel, among others.
satan's biggest deceptions display a form of GOD-liness, but will be fragmentally
perverted in different areas, whereby only the Biblically learned can spot the errors
(see 2 Corinthians 11: 12-15). A faithful Bible student has a great advantage of
discerning the sometimes subtle differences between Truth and disinformation - and
good and evil; such as the “twisted” scriptures which satan presented to Jesus in
the fourth chapter of Matthew. The serpent is a slippery one for sure.
TOP OF PAGE
Let us now get back to that very interesting description in Revelation 17: 10-11.
We see seven kings described together; 5 are fallen, 1 now is, and 1 is yet to come
(= 7). Then we see mention of an eighth king who is of the seven. This is because
the seven are grouped together, yet divided into earlier eras, but while the eighth
king is of the seven previous kings he is in a separate dispensation from that of
the earlier seven. This is not to say the previous seven kings are from seven separate
dispensations, but Revelation 17: 10 does indicate those seven kings are from three
different dispensations of varying lengths by the very nature that it is explained
through the grouped descriptions. We can examine that even further, but it would
only gender some confusion at this point.
That eighth king is a description of satan in Revelation 20: 7, which is in a dispensation
after Christ’s 1,000 year Sabbatical Kingdom on earth. This is when the dragon is
afterwards released from the bottomless pit to deceive (test) the nations one final
time before he is utterly destroyed. That will be the eighth and final kingdom nurtured
by satan. The devil has had different names and kingdoms throughout Scriptures and
the previous seven kings are also indication of him from earlier times. In the past,
earthly kings have had a comparison made to satan as a lesson to us of the last days,
and by examining those earlier kings we are given insight into satan’s character.
His role as that seventh king is the final one of this present earth age, having
a 5 month duration with his actual presence on earth; just before Christ comes (study
Revelation 9: 5, 10 ◦ 12: 12 and interestingly enough Genesis 7: 24). In certain
Old Testament prophecies, satan has even been called by the name of earthly kings,
such as the “Assyrian” or the “king of Babylon” for example. The serpent’s wickedness
has been the guidance and direction of every evil kingdom of men which GOD used as
judgment against apostates and sinners; another “Prophecy Pattern” that is written
to occur again.
satan (sorry - I really can’t capitalize that name) gives power, authority, and credibility
to this end-time “beast” government, therefore it is of spiritual confusion (Babel)
and blasphemy (Revelation 17: 3 - also see Psalms chapter 2). All in all, it is the
typical Babylon throughout the ages. One of the beast’s heads (dominions) has a deadly
wound which will be healed. Jesus Christ gave that deadly wound through His Sacrificial
Crucifixion when He led captivity captive (the devil is captivity - an important
detail in prophecy - see Psalms 68: 18 and Ephesians 4: 8-10). That was against satan
as the fifth king. The sixth king is satan ruling now from the bottomless pit through
his evil spirit upon earth. He has been active in that capacity for the nearly two
thousand years after Christ ascended to Heaven. The act of making an image of the
beast in Revelation chapter 13 is a remake of the kingdom(s) of Babylon. We can now
better see how this beast “confederacy” is a thing which has been and a thing which
shall be (see Isaiah chapter 8; also see verse 12 there). Although, I might add,
the seventh kingdom is the only time in history when it will physically cover the
entire earth. Christ will again deliver a symbolic deadly wound to the seventh “beast
head king” at His second Advent, as mentioned previously, at which time satan will
once again be chained in the bottomless pit (also as mentioned). But at that time,
a seal will be set upon the bottomless pit during Christ's Kingdom on earth (Revelation
20: 3). During that time, the devil and his evil will be totally incapacitated. Then,
GOD will finally destroy satan in the lake of fire at a later period after Christ's
1,000 year reign upon earth (Revelation 20: 7-10). That will be against the eighth
and final king. Then satan will finally be able to keep his head out from under Christ's
foot, because he will be destroyed.

Five kings are fallen - satan’s reigns from times past (When viewed from this present
time or even during John's time, these five kings are in one dispensation lasting
from the beginning until Christ's Sacrifice on the cross at Golgotha).
One king now is - satan’s current “evil spirit on earth” capacity (The sixth king).
One king is yet to come - satan during the end-time tribulation (The seventh king
who continues a short space of time, i.e., 5 months - Revelation chapter 9).
The eighth king - is satan’s final reign of deception after Christ’s millennial Kingdom
on earth.
On the whole, as described in Revelation 17: 11, satan is the beast that:
was (before Christ's crucifixion),
and is not now (because Christ defeated death [satan] at His crucifixion and resurrection),
whose deadly wounded (sixth) head shall be healed, so that he is once again (that
seventh beast head).
By comparison of Good and evil, and how many times evil is permitted to follow the
pattern of Good, notice how View #2 of satan is similar to Christ's description (to
wit: Revelation 1: 8 - I Am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith
The Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The Almighty. and Revelation
1: 18 - I Am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I Am alive for evermore,
Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.)
In summary and necessary repetition, those two outlines are separate views of the
evil one. That beast head which shall be healed and the remade image are satan as
the king of Babylon (confusion) and his rebuilt kingdom. There is no new thing under
the sun and GOD requires that which is past, which is to say, He allows a certain
pattern to reoccur in order to test all soul’s stability and faithfulness towards
Him; before He allows them to live eternally in His Kingdom. We must pass the test
beloved. Remember, judgment begins at The House of GOD (e.g., 1 Peter 4: 17), so
naturally there will be a preceding trial. Christ’s Blood must be our defense of
course (Revelation 12: 9-12), in addition to our unwavering faithfulness to GOD in
the face of death. But have comfort - who can harm us if we are followers of GOD
(Good)? (1 Peter 3: 13) ..... No one. Praise GOD! In the world you shall have tribulations,
but cheer up, Christ has overcome the world (John 16: 33)! This makes those who have
The Holy Spirit of GOD over-comers also.
When we hear people speak of a revived Roman empire in the end times, we can understand
just how far off of the mark they really are, because Rome was a “type” or pattern
of the ancient Babylonian beast of spiritual confusion and blasphemy. The dragon
was in control of the Roman kingdom too. The Bible shows us the patterns to watch
quite easily, and Praise GOD it’s really not complicated after we learn the basics
of prophesy and GOD’s historical Word. Babylon is mentioned repeatedly in The book
of Revelation, among other places, because it is the frame of evil which is set against
GOD and His children; always was and shall be until it is completely destroyed at
a time after Christ’s Sabbatical millennium on earth. Quite simply, satan is the
only enemy (Ephesians 6: 10-18), so after he is destroyed it should not seem peculiar
when there will be no more sickness, death, or war. He is personally the bitter root
of all those negative things.

Before engaging in the sections on “rapture”, let’s take a look at some more end-time
facts to put us in the proper frame of mind. We must remember, for “rapture” to even
show a similitude of accuracy, it must be interwoven with all Scriptures. From what
we’ve already studied on these pages, the “rapture” doctrine is just not up to Biblical
standards. It just leaves us empty and without understanding in far too many areas.
The “rapture” doctrine has driven so many people away from the Bible, because the
Scriptures only confuses them when viewed through the dimness of a “rapture” mind-set
(been there - done that). There are some groups which claim there is no Salvation
or repentance available in the great tribulation and that GOD will remove His Spirit
from earth at such time. I suppose they never read Deuteronomy 4: 29-31 below. Please
take note of what I underlined in those verses and read it that way, then read it
all together so as to never forget the other important details of what is required
of us; such as verse 29 and the end of verse 30.
Deuteronomy 4: 29-31
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek The LORD thy GOD, thou shalt find Him, if thou
seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in
the latter days, if thou turn to The LORD thy GOD, and shalt be obedient unto His
voice;
31 (For The LORD thy GOD is a merciful GOD;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy
thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.
If someone isn’t seeking understanding from GOD through His Holy Spirit, they are
liable to believe what the world believes; a little of this and a little of that.
In effect nothing of any real staying power. Not enough Scriptural meat to stick
to the ribs, so to say - leaving no strength for the spiritual battle ahead (Ezekiel
13: 1-16).
Here’s a precious Truth found in Isaiah chapter 26 below, which explains what occurs
on the day The Lord comes to wipe away all tears and the atmosphere of the world
just before He returns. That chapter describes the Christian in the last days tribulation
- whatever their nationality. I know these passages of Scripture are commonly taught
to be concerning the “Jews”, because of the mention of “My people”, but there is
no Salvation or acceptance by GOD in any other name than the Name of Jesus these
days; and certainly not without the name of Jesus (John 5: 23 and 1 Corinthians 12:
13). If for some reason you don't understand this now, you will come to see it as
we continue along. Those who will not accept Christ Jesus are unsaved, whether they
are Jew, Hebrew, Gentile or so called “Christian”. Of course, we count no one hopeless
until GOD closes the door to Salvation at the second Advent of Christ. I do see Theological
indication for further hope in the millennium to come for certain souls who were
forbidden from accepting or even hearing about Christ; by repressive tyrannical regimes
(more on that later). We also understand that many Israelis (who people call “Jews”
- in error), will be saved through Christian testimonies in the last days, as well
as other nationalities, because many of those are of GOD’s “election” of souls whom
He will call unto Himself. They are yet to be sealed with His Holy Spirit (example:
Revelation chapter 7). Daniel 12: 3 sheds light on the last days ministries of Christian
saints who are able to effectively reach people. I have every reason to believe that
many Hebrews as well as apostates, atheists, occultists, drug addicts, Buddhists,
etc., etc., will be reached for Christ in the very last 45 days of this earth age.
Daniel chapter 12, in general, explains much about the end of this age, but Scriptures
generally relating to “the end” teaches that only a remnant will survive the great
tribulation (see Zechariah 13: 8-9). Sadly, none of us can change that. Nevertheless,
even though only a portion, a remnant of billions is still an outstanding number
as verified in related Scriptures.
TOP OF PAGE
To continue, the following section of Isaiah 26 describes the relief of those who
come out of the birth pains (tribulation) of the earth, just before Jesus comes to
deliver them from anti-christ’s kingdom of spiritual confusion (Babylon). Notice
how The Lord admonishes them to “enter into their chambers for a little while until
the indignation is past” (during satan’s tribulation). This is reminiscent of the
Passover in Exodus when the Hebrews were instructed to apply the lamb’s blood to
their door posts, go into their houses, and shut the door until the death angel passed
over. That is another thing which has been and shall be again, just as the opening
Scriptures in this section has informed us. Through comparing these two examples,
we can once again better understand how GOD requires much of the past to occur again.
This next time, it is Christ’s Redemptive Blood which must be accepted into our lives
in order for the death angel (satan) to pass by us. Thank You JESUS for Your Perfect
Love! The reoccurrences of GOD’s history makes it much easier for His children to
understand critical prophecies. Just look at how long the Bible is. The Lord has
given us many examples to examine. That shows a lot of love all by itself!
Isaiah 26: 17-21
17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in
pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth
wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants
[note: unsaved] of the world fallen [note: during the tribulation - see Revelation
9: 5-6].
19 Thy dead [men] shall live, [together with] my dead body shall they arise [note:
they did rise, after Jesus freed them from the holds of death - prophecy fulfilled
(see John 5: 25 and 1 Peter 3: 18-19 ◦ 4: 6) - (also compare by contrast; Isaiah
24: 21-23 and Revelation 20: 5-6)]. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust [note:
can be interpreted “[small] dust” or “ashes”; either gives the same result here]:
for thy dew [is as] the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead [note:
By extension, this symbolically refers to the unsaved on Judgment Day, but it literally
means the earth shall be purified].
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee:
hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, The LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the
earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more
cover her slain [note: I.e., no more secrets; all things shall be made known - see
Genesis 4: 11].
TOP OF PAGE
“Come my people, enter into your chambers and hide yourself until the indignation
is past”.
I must say, this sounds absolutely nothing like a “rapture” escape, and it is during
the time of earth’s final birth pains (tribulation). I wonder who is correct on this
matter - GOD or almost the whole world? Again, some say reference to “My people”
is claiming the Jews, but we are dealing with the Christian in that description of
the last days, which includes Hebrews who are saved by accepting Salvation in Christ’s
Blood, because ultimately and eternally, GOD’s people are called Christian after
Christ perfected the way to The Heavenly Father (see Isaiah 65: 15 and Romans 11).
How do we know that? New Testament Scriptures state that, if a person does not have
GOD’s Holy Spirit dwelling within them, they are none of His (Romans 8: 9 ◦ John
3: 18, 36 ◦ 1 John 5: 10-12 ◦ 2 John: 7-11). There is no way to have His Spirit without
accepting Jesus after the Sacrificial Cross of Salvation was fulfilled. The Lord
Jesus really wasn’t kidding when He said He was The Way, Truth, and Life and no man
comes to The Father but through (by) Him (John 14: 6). Jesus went to His own Tribe
Judah (the Jews), and many rejected Him thereby opening Salvation to the rest of
the world. First to the Jews, Levites, and Benjamites in Judea - next to the scattered
Hebrew remnants throughout other parts of Israel, and then to the Gentiles - even
the whole world by the ministries of the Apostles. There is but one way for the sheep
to get to Father GOD and that is to enter through Christ; the door of the sheepcote
(John 10: 7-9). Those who say that The Christ (The Messiah) has not come in the flesh
during His first Advent are of the spirit of anti-christ (see 1 John 2: 22-23 ◦ 4:
3 ◦ 5: 10-12 and 2 John: 7). Those who are of anti-christ’s spirit, (i.e., “instead
of Christ’s Spirit”), do not have to stay that way, but while rejecting Christ and
The Holy Spirit they are without GOD (John 5: 23).
Isaiah chapter 65, especially verse 15, tells the prophecy of the start of Christianity.
GOD has done as He promised there. He calls His chosen servants of the “election”
by a new name now. The Truth is, and I really want to draw attention to this but,
Christianity today is comprised of many of Hebrew bloodline whose ancestors were
scattered throughout the world for the last 2,700 or so years; another promise of
GOD. Many of these were / are elected to obtain Salvation and be sealed with The
Holy Spirit, just as were the Gentile Thessalonians who the Apostle Paul wrote to
in 2 Thessalonians 2: 13. Many of modern day Israel are being drawn to The Lord,
and will be all of the way until the end of this age. Additionally, so will many
in every nation of the world, as stated. It is GOD who is the caretaker of the fruit,
and He waits until the perfect time before He harvests the “crop”. That perfect time
is when the most have been saved through belief and acceptance of Christ and receiving
of The Holy Spirit. This is what GOD calls “sealing His servants”; marking them through
Christ’s Atoning Blood and sealing them with His Holy Spirit. In the negative, satan
also marks those who are deceived by him as he performs the role of anti-christ.
That is the “mark of the beast”. GOD marks His people in their minds and this is
the same place where the devil marks those deceived by him (“metopon” ◦ Grk. = “inside”
of the forehead, which is the mind / thoughts).

Isaiah 65: 15
GOD Speaking through Isaiah to some of the rebels of Israel:
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for The Lord GOD shall
slay thee, and call His servants by another name [note: This is a prophecy of the
start of Christ’s Church - Christianity]:
Many today who consider themselves to be GOD’s people reject and refuse The Messiah
(Mashiyach (Heb.) = Anointed One), and GOD’s plan of Salvation through Him (i.e.,
Christ = Christos (Grk.) = Anointed), even though His coming has been foretold for
thousands of years. I’m not only referring to Israel, but also of many in Christian
congregations today. Many in both walks of life feel The Cross is foolishness (1
Corinthians 1: 18) and not required to serve GOD. Some of these are still of the
election and beloved by our long suffering Heavenly Father. They are part of the
lost sheep whom we are seeking and waiting for. Yes, even some who go by the name
of Christian. Yet still, some will say at the time of judgment: “... but Lord, you
know us; remember how you taught in our streets?”, and “we have healed in your name”
- but He will say: “I never knew you. If you were my people you would hear My Words.”
It’s sad to say, but some don’t read Scriptures in order to hear His Words, whether
they go by the name of Christian or Hebrew. Again, as stated, we do not count any
people hopeless or void of obtaining Salvation in Christ. In fact, we labor night
and day to see that they have many opportunities to achieve the goal of Salvation.
We must also consider, GOD Himself blinded the Hebrews in general, more specifically
the Jews, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (Romans 11). Then He will
open many of the eyes of Israel and Judah in the last days. GOD is always fair and
He has not cast them off forever by any means. But what of those Hebrews who died
without Salvation through accepting Christ Jesus between the time after His resurrection
and before His upcoming second Advent? GOD has appointed a time for them to understand
His doctrine after the “First” resurrection and before the second death (death of
the soul in the lake of fire), mentioned in Revelation 20: 5-6. Again, GOD is always
fair. We must also understand this one thing. There are a certain number of people
in the world who call themselves “Jews”, but GOD tells us they are of the synagogue
of satan (Revelation 2: 9). These give the Jews a bad name, by satan’s design of
course, because they will vehemently deny Christ and provoke many Jews and Hebrews
in general to do the same. There is that similarity to sheep again - following the
loudest voice which appears to be a knowledgeable authority. But GOD will open the
eyes of many of His true people during the last days ..... Praise GOD !
Before we venture too far from general discussion of the Hebrews, many of us remember
the lessons from our childhood concerning the Hebrews being GOD's chosen people.
They certainly are for various reasons. Primarily by being the bloodline from which
Messiah would be born, and the Hebrew tribe of Judah (the Jews) was chosen to “host”
the Christ Child. Additionally, The Creator chose Eber’s (Eber = Hebrew) family tree
to use as a means to communicate with mankind; through Enoch, Moses, and the other
Prophets. GOD also chose Adam's posterity (especially through Eber) as an example
to all of mankind as to what GOD expects from the human race. Many example lessons
of blessing and cursing are displayed thereby. We must, however, understand this
point. All of the children of Israel were not pleasing to GOD and their destruction
was evidence of that. Some also retain curses passed throughout their family for
many generations because of their dislike for GOD and His ways. They pass on that
dislike to their children through teachings in opposition to GOD’s Word. Esau is
another example. He disliked his birthright and heritage so much that he sold his
rights to his brother Jacob (Israel). GOD expected this to happen though, and foreordained
the elder (Esau) to serve his younger brother (Jacob).
Please see the chart below to examine Christ’s genealogy from Adam to Abraham. You
will also see where Eber’s name and lifetime fits in as an important benchmark for
recognizing the Hebrew lineage.
